today as i was sitting at my desk femi, a nigerian man across from me posed the question, "what is thrash metal?" it appears as though the latest newsletter had an interesting section:
Engineering:
Ian Marshall re-joined the team on 4th December to help out for a few weeks in the testing team. Ian was previously with us as a test intern over the summer and re-joins in this role. Ian enjoys thrash metal, campervan’ing and painting.

a hooker in amsterdam, on separate occasions, grabbed gene and i by hair and told us we were pussies for not having sex with her. she had a lot of fervor and yanked quite excessively. i have to go to atm and get out money to pay for the van because of the sparse and hectic tour schedule. i want to accomplish a lot when i get home. there are a lot of people i need to see. i hope kenny really isnt hurt. it sucks nick fury broke up, but i guess that was coming. i hope i can find some chicky to watch movies with me on halloween. i really want to go downstairs right now. ive been gone from home for so long. i am going to call my sister, yesterday was her birthday.

completely unrelated to the gifts themselves, the people who have given me gifts thus far for christmas, i am extremely fortunate to have in my life. i am very thankful for these, and a few other people. the headache of the season is almost over and the awesome part of my break is drawing near. travel is great. i found my ipod, it is definetely done, if anyone is familiar with how best buy handles ipod exchanges please comment. this is 20 gig from last may. i hope i passed all my classes, there were some situations.
tomorrow i am a juror. i would like to think i have pretty good judgement, so we shall see.

so i got a few hours of sleep and then worked today(thank god). i have an exam at 8 am which i need to learn a semester's worth of spanish for. i have an exam at 1 pm i need to know a semesters worth of western civ for. i have to turn in a semesters worth of econ homework at 5 and then talk to my "instructor" about a test and convince him to give me a C. then i have to sell back my books, take back library books, pay a fine, pack up my shit and move. then i have to play a show. then i go to a christmas party. then i get a few hours of sleep and work. i need to come across $550 within the next few days.
i have been thinking about this subject pretty seriously the last few months: multiple personalities are fairly practical solutions to a lot of problems. everyone just writes it off as a simple psychological disorder. but, i would much rather create a personality to deal with things like waking up and taking my finals tomorrow, i can go to sleep tonight knowing that someone else has to deal with my problems later. it sucks to be that guy.

so now a third of my ipod has been erased. but, the selection of erased songs is so devious. i cant believe how everything i want to listen to is gone. i cant even listen to the song broken anymore.
